Prayer of Renewal

Father, I am flawed, but You are perfect;

I wander aimlessly, You show me the path;

I can’t see the road ahead, You give me light to see Your way;

I wonder if I can find peace, You give me comfort;

You don’t need me, but You love me.

I need love, You give me Your love and mercy;

I am lost in a wilderness of sin, You forgive and strengthen me;

I reach out to You, You welcome me with open arms;

I need to come home, You take my hand and lead me;

I need to trust, You renew my faith.

Lord, show me Your ways that I may follow You always.
